Overview
Served as the Lead Architect and Product Lead for a proprietary Adtech platform designed to bypass international credit card barriers in the Nepalese market. I headed a team of two, directing the project’s strategic roadmap, managing the Scrum lifecycle, and overseeing the technical integration between the Meta Graph API and local financial gateways.
Technical Leadership & Product Engineering
- Strategic Roadmap & Scrum Management: Acted as the primary “Product Brain,” defining the application’s architecture, prioritizing the feature backlog, and leading agile development cycles to deliver a functional MVP and subsequent Beta release.
- Architecture Design: Guided the team in building a robust integration with Facebook Login and Meta Graph APIs to handle complex page permissions and real-time ad management.
- Hands-on Core Development: Directly engineered the high-stakes components of the platform, specifically the campaign orchestration engine and real-time ad controls.
Fintech & Payment Gateway Integration
- Local Payment Bridge: Architected a secure payment layer to resolve regional transaction friction. By integrating local gateways like Khalti and eSewa, I provided a fully compliant and regulated alternative to unofficial or non-standard payment workarounds.
- Compliance & Data Integrity: Established the security protocols and audit trails required to ensure all transactions were legally processed and traceable within the Nepalese financial ecosystem with periodic or ondemand VAT bills.
Deployment & Operational Validation
- Beta Lifecycle Management: Successfully led the platform through its Beta phase, overseeing the resolution of technical edge cases and directing UI/UX refinements based on initial user feedback.
- High-Concurrency Handling: Engineered the backend to process multiple simultaneous ad creations and payment confirmations without system lag or data duplication.
- Payment-to-Ad Sync: Optimized the “webhook” connection between local payment providers and the Facebook API, ensuring ads were triggered immediately or scheduled upon payment verification.
