Karjabazaar: Digital Loan Marketplace and CRM

Overview

At ACT360 I led a team of 4 to 5 developers to build Karjabazaar, a Laravel marketplace for credit cards, home loans and auto loans. Customers could check their eligibility, compare products and apply, and banks managed the leads in a built-in CRM. It launched with Standard Chartered Bank as its first lending partner. The platform is no longer live.

Applications and eligibility

  • Product-specific forms: Application forms that change their fields based on the loan type.
  • Instant eligibility check: Checks applicant data against each bank’s criteria and shows eligibility straight away.
  • Side-by-side comparison: Compares interest rates, fees and benefits across the products a customer qualifies for.

CRM for banks

  • Lead management: A CRM with task assignment, checklists for each lead, follow-up reminders and conversion tracking.
  • Separate portals: Admin, partner bank and customer portals, with each bank’s data kept separate.
  • Role-based access: Detailed permissions for each user.

Products and reports

  • Product catalogue: One place to update rates, terms and eligibility rules for each product.
  • Reports: Dashboards for product performance, lead distribution and conversion rates.
